First watching the fight in which I tuhhgot Mayweather was up 2 rounds to 1 (ppl at HBO had it 2 to 1 also) when Ortiz got him with two clean shots and got him cornered up then came a flurry of punches he was doing good maybe could've even stole the round for because there were about 22 seconds left in the round and then came the headbutt which could've been of frustration because i've never seen him do someting like that in any of his previous 5 fights BUT it still doesnt make it right so he rightfully gets point taken away. Ofcourse retaliation from Mayweather was expected and he took his 1st chance at it with a left (which made things even) and the the CHEAP shot which although is legal according to ref i dont know how credible HE is being that he wasn't watching the fighters which they're supposed to do At All Times i mean for all he knows Mayweather could've hit him right back with a headbutt and he wouldnt have seen it but back to Mayweather because he hasnt fought in a long time and this is how he wants to win??? really??? for those of us who paid that PPV $$$ do you say to yourself wow this worth every penny and i'd buy another one of his fights? and i put it on him because he's the prize fighter the one with experience (which in the ref's case experience didnt help much) and already a multi-millionaire so why not give us a show and ENTERTAIN us BOXING which is what ppl in this recession paid to see him do. I was dissapointed at the decision he made to take easy route and take that cheap shot KO .. ps: also seems like he stepped on Ortiz foot so he wouldnt move right b4 he landed that 1st left hook SHAMEFUL and DIRTY PLAIN and SIMPLE

I actually like both fights for several reasons. Like You Tony, I like the youth factor Bradley brings to the table. He is undefeated and doesn`t know how to quit and that spells trouble for Pac. If he (Pac) thought Marquez was tough, then he`s in for a long night with Bradley. I am worried about the headbutts. I have an odd feeling this one will go to the scorecards late because of an accidental butt. I`m rooting for Pac of course but I think Bradley will do enough to scrape by, headbutts or not.

I love the Cotto Mayweather fight. This was the fight I wanted to see if Pac/ May couldn`t get down and I got my wish. You know Cotto will give him a war, even if He`s down on the cards. Mayweather probably wont be in a tougher fight for the rest of his career unless he continues to move up in weight. This fight should have happened a few years back but otherwise its going to be pretty damn good.

I feel the cotto fight is 5 yrs to late he's gone thru some hellacious fights in those 5 yrs however I give kudos to Mayweather for going up to 154 With Hatton and JMM it had to be 147 and 146 It will be interesting to see what happens to Floyd if Cotto hits him with the Trademark hook to the body Remember the mysterious rib injury may be a sign to look for Now on to Manny I wish the fight was @ 140 nut Bradley is going to 147 It should be a good contest cause Bradley is ranked the top 140 and undefeated Gary Shaw mishandled his fame which is a shame Manny claims to have dropped his vices and retaken an oath of god If this is true We may see the Manny of old that comes out and destroys If he is still caught in everything fighting amongst Ariza and Koncz and not focusing like he hasn't Bradley stands a great chance to win I prefer Manny/Bradley for the 2 fights but it will be nice to see what Cotto may have been able to do 5 yrs ago undefeated @ 147 against Floyd

Its obvious that neither Arum or Pacquiao wanted the Mayweather fight. A month ago Manny wanted to look like He was willing when He said that He was willing to take the lesser purse in order to make the fight happen. This week that same issue was used to walk away from the table.
The fact is that Mayweather has beaten better fighters and has earned the #1 P4P fair and square while the runner up has failed to look like the top P4P fighting lesser opposition.
Also, I believe that the harder fight for both would be against Cotto, who brings far more than the recovering Cotto of a few years ago. Now a free agent, He might not be handpicked this time for the same reasons the double dipper promoter maybe won't like the risk and might put him against a lesser thread like Peterson or Brady. Either one, Mayweather will once again fight a bigger thread and remain the top P4P.
