WHAT: Earlier today, legendary former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, Stephen Espinoza, Executive Vice President & General Manager, SHOWTIME Sports, Chris Middendorf, Iron Mike Productions VP of Boxing Operations, and undefeated welterweight and war veteran Sammy Vasquez Jr., participated in a conference call to discuss Tyson’s Iron Mike Productions’ tripleheader on Friday, April 18, on ShoBox: The New Generation live on SHOWTIME® (10:45 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast) from the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pa.
Vasquez (13-0, 9 KOs), of Monesson, Pa., will meet Juan Rodriguez, Jr. (11-0, 5 KOs), of Union City, N.J., in a battle of unbeatens in an eight-rounder that will open the ShoBox telecast.
