Hussein Hits Back At Deakin Tweets

New pro Eddy Hussein has been caught up in a Twitter war ahead of his professional debut against Robin Deakin.

Hussein is aiming to follow in the footsteps of his dad Mo – a former Commonwealth Lightweight Champion in the 1980s – when he enters the ring against Deakin at London’s York Hall this Friday night (September 30th).

Deakin has taken to social networking site Twitter to rundown Hussein ahead of the show being promoted by Frank Warren’s sons Francis and George for Queensbury Promotions, live and exclusive on BoxNation (Sky Platform Channel 456)

“He’s living of his dads name its him and me in the ring, I’m gonna take him to war,” and “I’ll smash him the little girl, Crawley Town all the way Eddies getting done.”, stormed ‘Rockin’ Robin.

However, Hussein has said he hasn’t taken much notice of what has been going on online and he is looking to walk-the-walk rather than talk-the-talk.

“I know Robin likes to talk a lot,” said Hussein. “I don’t go on Twitter but a few people have told me what he’s been saying.

“I’m just staying focused and I’ll do my talking in the ring. My training and sparring have been going well and I’m ready for anything,”

“To be honest his comments have just fired me up even more and I want to knock him out.”
